Developing Regulatory Policy and Legislation
• Research and analyze public policy issues from a legal, socio-economic and public sector management perspective;
• Conduct empirical research using surveys, focus groups, econometrics, decision-modeling and selective interview techniques;
• Prepare consultation documents on legal and regulatory policy issues;
• Plan and assist clients with stakeholder consultations;
• Conduct reviews and evaluations of government programs;
• Prepare regulatory impact analyses;
• Design administrative monetary penalty schemes (AMPS);
• Facilitate negotiated rulemaking for proposed regulations.
